Mini-Conference: "Activating Spiritual Gifts"

Date(s): November 17th-18th, 2007

Sean Smith grew up in the inner-city of Oakland, California. Amidst family tragedy, which included the untimely murder of his father, Sean found his life reeling with pain.

After a prolonged season of experimentation to ease the ache, Sean was radically saved while attending the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. After which time, he began to lead many to Christ, including all but one member of his fraternity.

Within approximately two years of Sean?s dramatic conversion, he became the director of U.O.P.?s outreach ministry, setting aside his B.S. in Computer Systems Analysis. For the next four years Sean saw tremendous growth and impact at that secular college. It was during this time that he saw his future wife, Barbara, saved. They were married in 1990 and now have two children.

In the fall of 1990, Sean and Barbara moved to Chico to pioneer a campus outreach at California State University, Chico which, at that time, was considered the number one party school in America. After humble beginnings, the ministry began to take off with major conversions: hundreds were born again and many were called into full-time ministry. The ministry grew to encompass two campuses and included outreach to athletes, international students, the dorms, and open air preaching.

In the summer of 1996, after 10 years in campus ministry, Sean moved on to become the generation pastor at Harvest Rock Church in the Los Angeles area. Following which, Sean became an associate evangelist with Mario Murillo Ministries, assisting in meetings and crusades.

Sean has now been launched into full-time evangelism, conducting outreaches and crusades all over the States and overseas. Sean?s messages are prophetic, challenging people to fulfill their destiny in Christ. Sean?s services witness the Holy Spirit?s supernatural release to meet people with a heart of compassion and to touch their needs. In addition to his evangelistic ministry, Sean has served as the Director of Spiritual Life at Bethany College in Scotts Valley, California. In May of 2001, Sean received a Masters in Ministry from the Wagner Leadership Institute. Sean?s writings have been published in several nation-wide publications. The Smith family currently resides in San Ramon, California.

Sean Smith Ministries?Pointblank International has been established with the purpose to CARE: Captivate for Christ the hearts of a generation; Activate the army of God to fulfill its destiny; Reach out to and reap lost souls; and Equip the body of Christ to meet the challenge of the Great Commission.
